Reiki is a system of natural healing founded in Japan by Mikao Usui between the ‘800 and the ‘900 and Reiki brought to the West by Hawayo Takata.

Mrs. Takata brought Reiki to the Hawaii, her granddaughter Mrs. Furumoto brought Reiki to USA, and than the Mrs. Furumoto’s students brought Reiki in the word, in U.K., Europe, Australia, south Africa, India, and in all the world. And afterwards Reiki returned back to Japan.

At the present time there are a lot of different school of Reiki. Usui Traditional Reiki is the classic school and the traditional teaching.

The Japanese word “Rei-Ki” consists of 2 syllables or 2 Japan characters (you’ll say: ray-kee) is translated as “universal life energy“.

This energy is light, it’s the matrix of the world, the origin  of the universe, and it’s around us, within us and all living things.

Reiki is a holistic therapy and it works by harmony, balancing and healing the whole person on all levels – body, mind, emotion and spirit.

How does Reiki work?

The REIKI practice is very simple and the REIKI treatments are powerful.

The power of Reiki is the simplicity.

When Reiki practitioner’s hands come into contact with something living, Reiki starts to flow through practitioner’s body and radiates from their hands.

Reiki is different from other energetic disciplines

Reiki practitioners do not use their own energy, such as in spiritual healing, or manipulate the patient’s own energy fields, as for example in others disciplines like for example shiatsu or massage, or acupuncture.

While touching the client, Reiki energy starts to radiate from practitioner’s hands which activates the client’s own healing mechanism within the body.

You can learn Reiki

You can learn Reiki, easily. Everybody are energy, so everybody can learn Reiki, all people can use Reiki.

After the Reiki course you can use Reiki to treat yourself, your family, your friends, pets, flowers and plants.

For the Reiki energy to be activated within your hands, you have to be initiated to it by a Reiki Master or Reiki Teacher who transmits to his students the power of Reiki.

A Reiki energetic harmonization is a direct transmission from teacher to students.

Contained within that energetic harmonization is not only the spiritual essence and knowledge of that teacher but all the teachers and Masters before him/her within that directly transmitted lineage from Mikao Usui.

There are 3 levels of Reiki

• The 1st  Level of Reiki is the physical level, you’ll use your hand to pratic Reiki
• The 2nd Level of Reiki is the mental level, you’ll you’re your mind and your energy
• The 3th  Level of Reiki is the spiritual level, you’ll use the universal energy only and you can transmit the energy of Reiki and make new Reiki operators (your students). You can access the Reiki Master course.

How long is a Reiki Course?

The Reiki courses are very simple. Each level of Reiki can be collective or individual.

• The collective Reiki courses take a weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• The individual Reiki courses take one day by appointment from 10.30 to 17.30 approximately

In each course are delivered the illustrated Reiki manuals and the Reiki Course certificate in the level played, issued by R.I.S. – Reiki International School.
